Little Lions Pre-School & Nursery opened its doors in March 2015 and has since grown and flourished, becoming a trusted provider of early childhood care and education.
Owned and operated by Sarah Heywood and Jo Rochford, who bring years of experience and expertise in childcare, Little Lions is dedicated to creating a nurturing and inspiring environment for children.
We offer a range of care and educational services for children aged one to five, providing both privately paid and government-funded places. Our funding options include the nine-month working families funding, two-year supported families funding, two-year working families funding, three-year funding, and the 30-hour funding for eligible families.
At Little Lions Pre-School & Nursery, we understand that every child is unique and deserves to be treated as an individual. Our positive, engaging approach to learning allows our experienced team to tailor each child's educational experience to their interests and needs. We focus on supporting each child’s development at their own pace, ensuring they learn in a comfortable, stimulating environment.

Our passionate and knowledgeable team is committed to delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum with care and enthusiasm. We take an inclusive approach, inviting families to work closely with us in supporting their child's growth and development, all while having fun along the way!
