We are truly grateful for the wonderful care our children receive at Little Lions Nursery. As a family, where English is not our first language, we have been amazed at how quickly and well our children are picking up the language, thanks to your supportive and nurturing environment. The staff's commitment to our children's well-being is evident in every aspect of their service. They keep detailed records of our children's needs, ensuring that all of our concerns are addressed and that they receive the right care all the time. Weather its feeding, changing or cleaning, we know they are always attentive and trustworthy. The staff are proactive, attentive and committed, which brings us great peace of mind. The nursery is clean, with plenty of opportunities for our children to play outside and explore. There is a sense of care, and it's clear that the staff truly love what they do. Some days our children don't even want to leave, which speaks volumes about the positive and engaging environment they've created. We are so thankful for the hard work, dedication and kindness. You are all doing an excellent job, and we feel truly fortunate to have found such a wonderful place for our children. Thank you for everything.

Lucy attended Little Lions for a term and a half before starting ' big school'. At the time it felt like a risky choice moving her from one nursery to another with so little time before she stared reception but looking back it was the best thing we could have done for her. Jo, Sarah and the team they place around them are incredible. The time, effort, imagination and love they put into everyday at Little Lions is inspiring. They gave Lucy an amazing term in which she was constantly stimulated, happy and excited for school every day! Jo and Sarah showed on many occasions how well they knew and understood Lucy and were always available to talk to about any issues or problems we were having. I can't thank them enough for everything they did for Lucy during her time at Little Lions!"

" I volunteered at Little Lions from February 2015 to July 2015. It was definitely one of the most valuable experiences I have had and I have learnt a great deal in caring for children and fostering their learning journey.

At Little Lions, children come to nursery with a bright smile on their faces and they have a strong bond with the staff. Staff respect individuality, that every child is unique and every child matters. Little Lions provide children with stimulating planned activities in order to help each and every child reach their full potential, as well as building relationships with their friends and staying happy.

As a volunteer at Little Lions for 5 months, I have built close relationships with the staff. I felt very valued and loved by the children and staff. They were always happy to help and pass on knowledge in childcare. Not only does Little Lions provide high quality childcare and early years teaching, It is in no doubt an extremely friendly workplace for adults. I have volunteered at several settings in the past and there has been no place as friendly and loving as Little Lions!"

At Little Lions, we recognise that every child is unique, and we believe that growth and success stem from encouragement, praise, and positive reinforcement. Our teachers are dedicated to fostering each child's self-esteem and confidence through care, support, and consistent feedback, nurturing their individual strengths. Children naturally see the world with curiosity and wonder, and we strive to support and encourage this innate sense of exploration.

Our goal is for each child to become a motivated learner, prepared for the next stage in their educational journey. To us, being "school-ready" means children can independently manage toileting routines, dress themselves for PE, feed themselves, and have the confidence to see themselves as valued members of the class. We want every child to feel confident, independent, and resilient, with the ability to persevere through challenges.

We also aim for children to develop healthy, positive relationships with their peers. Our ultimate intent is for each child to reach their full potential. We achieve this through the implementation of our carefully designed curriculum, thoughtful planning and meaningful interactions with the children. Our curriculum offers a range of activities tailored to each child’s age and abilities, encouraging them to make decisions and take initiative. By following their lead, we inspire them to take risks, try new things, and celebrate their efforts, guiding and teaching them every step of the way

Every child is unique and we believe that success and growth come from encouragement and praise. Our teachers focus on building every child’s self esteem and confidence through positive feedback and rewards. We nurture their natural strengths. A child sees the world around them with wonder and awe, we believe in encouraging their natural curiosity.
